Hornsby Chinese School Celebrates 2023 Year-end Presentation Day and Award Ceremony (Saturday)

Hornsby Chinese School, a highly reputed institute founded in 2003, invites you to its Year-end Presentation Day and Award Ceremony. Recognized by the New South Wales Department of Education, the school is proudly a member of the NSW Federation of Community Language Schools and the Federation of Chinese Schools in Australia. We attribute our success to our incredible teaching staff, forward-thinking teaching philosophy, and our relaxed but rigorous learning environment.

At Hornsby Chinese School, we cater to a diverse range of students, offering a comprehensive teaching curriculum that is both flexible and effective. Our mission is to make language learning joyous and systematic, and to extend our educational scope beyond just languages. We pride ourselves on offering a range of arts and dance courses, contributing to a holistic cultural experience.

The past two decades saw our programs nurturing numerous students, successfully promoting the Chinese culture within overseas Chinese communities. Our campuses are spread across multiple locations, including Gordon West Public School, Hornsby North Public School, Hornsby Girls High School, Normanhurst Public School, Wahroonga Public School, and campuses in Hurstville and Summer Hill. We offer classes on weekdays and weekends to accommodate our students’ needs.

Our curriculum includes a variety of courses from preschool to Chinese Level 12, YCT courses focusing on listening and speaking skills, and private lessons. We also offer Cantonese classes designed specifically for children, using innovative teaching methods to create an immersive learning environment.

At Hornsby, we believe in nurturing artistic capabilities. We offer art courses with diverse content and a philosophy that prioritizes joy and interest. Our dance program, led by award-winning professional dancers, aims to foster aesthetic and artistic literacy and a deeper appreciation for Chinese traditional culture.

Our students have consistently achieved excellent results in various competitions. This year alone, 16 students won awards at the 32nd National Chinese Eisteddfod, and several received prestigious art awards organized by NSW and Sydney city.

At Hornsby Chinese School, we celebrate learning and cultural exchange together. We eagerly await to welcome new students to embark on an exciting learning journey with us.
