Celebrating Artistic Excellence: 2026 Young Archie Recognition -Kunling Liu
We are pleased to announce that Kunling Liu has been awarded an Honourable Mention in the 9–12 Years category of the Young Archie 2026 competition. The Young Archie, presented by the Art Gallery of New South Wales, is one of Australia’s most esteemed youth portrait awards and attracts entries from across the nation. This year, more than 4,000 students participated, making this recognition a significant accomplishment.
This achievement reflects the student’s dedication, creativity, and artistic skill, and it also highlights the strong commitment our school places on fostering a rich and supportive arts education. We congratulate our young artist on this outstanding result and commend them for representing our school with excellence.

This course aims to provide students with a comprehensive platform to learn fundamental art Knowledge and skills. Through diverse creative approaches, it seeks to inspire students’ artistic potential and creative thinking. The course covers various forms of drawing, including sketching, coloring, quick sketching, and oil painting, making it suitable for beginners and enthusiasts of all ages. Guided by professional instructors and practical exercises, students will master basic drawing techniques, understand the diversity of artistic expression, and develop their ability to create independently.
Curriculum Guide
Artistic Creation (Age 6-7):
Content: story books, handicrafts, color basics, collage, water color painting, 3D simulation
Goal: Cultivate interest and concentration in drawing, exercise hand-eye coordination, enhance self-confidence and aesthetics.
Artistic thinking and modeling(Age 8-9):
Contents: painting, printmaking, 3D simulation, line drawing, quick sketching, masterpiece appreciation, structural modeling
Goal: Explore and discover the beauty of art, improve figurative and logical thinking, and enhance artistic expression and application skills.
Professional Development(Age 10+):
Contents: sketch modeling, color, quick sketching
Goal: To enhance professionalism and appreciation of art.
