“NATIONAL CHINESE EISTEDDFOD 2015”

“NATIONAL CHINESE EISTEDDFOD 2014”

Our school achieved exceptional results this year in the National Chinese Eisteddfod. Over 3000 students from over 100 schools, both community and public/private were a part of the Eisteddfod this year. We won a total of 6 awards (1 group and 5 individuals) including 1 first place prize, 3 second place prizes and 2 third place prizes. Our overall performance was outstanding among other schools. The energy and enthusiasm of our 7-10 years age group performance was particularly impressive, as they finished in 2nd place. This event brings out the best in our students – their Chinese language skills, team spirit, motivation and expression. Of course our success would not be possible without the dedication of teachers who have trained our students with diligence and motivation. We extend our gratitude towards the parents who came along to help with preparation, rehearsals and supervision throughout the day. Thank you Mrs. Sun, Mrs. Miao and Mrs. Ma who led the arrangement of each group at the competition and assisted with registration, warm-ups and transport. Congratulations to all students who participated!
